Skyhouse Eco Chic B&B enjoys a prime hilltop location with superb views over the historic town of Lewes. We are ideally placed for exploring the many attractions of East Sussex and its gorgeous scenery. We’d like to help you make the most of your stay with us, whatever your interest. So whether you’re here for a golfing weekend, looking for a hotel near Glyndebourne or taking a break whilst trekking the South Downs Way, we’ll be on hand to offer advice and make reservations.

Walking and cycling

We welcome guests travelling by public transport and encourage this by offering a 10% discount on room rates for guests who leave the car at home (unless it’s electric, of course). From Skyhouse, the nearest train station is 0.7 miles and bus station, 0.5 miles. Directions are provided when you book with us.

We are happy to arrange bicycle hire for the duration of your stay and use Housedean Farm. We are on the edge of the beautiful South Downs so you can explore the many routes for walkers and cyclists right from your doorstep. There is a lovely 2 mile walk from Skyhouse to the beautiful village of Glynde, home of The Trevor Arms pub for which we can provide directions, along with other local nature walks.

So Sussex offer guided outdoor activities inc. guided hikes, Nordic walking, fishing trips, woodland excursions, mushroom walks and more.

Parking

We have ample private parking on site for guest vehicles. The driveway and guest accommodation are both wheelchair accessible. The postcode for Lewes is BN7 and full directions to our B&B will be provided at the time of booking.
